"I think an overwhelming portion of the intensely demonstrated animosity toward President Barack Obama is based on the fact that he is a black man, that he's African-American," Carter told NBC News. "I live in the South, and I've seen the South come a long way, and I've seen the rest of the country that shares the South's attitude toward minority groups at that time, particularly African-Americans."
An overwhelming portion? What could he be basing that on? Well, according to the peanut man, he's based his judgment of all political dissent directed at Obama to his experience living in the south.
"That racism inclination still exists, and I think it's bubbled up to the surface because of belief among many white people -- not just in the South but around the country -- that African-Americans are not qualified to lead this great country. It's an abominable circumstance, and it grieves me and concerns me very deeply," Carter said.
Undoubtedly, racism exists and it is inexcusably ugly. But political discourse also exists as does political protest. And while these can be ugly as well, they are a healthy check on a representative government. To smear your opposition with a word like "racist" when the accusation is groundless is demeaning to anyone who has been victimized by actual racism. It's selfish and irresponsible.

More recently, Jimmy Carter is a self aggrandizing menace who took it upon himself to meet with Hamas, a known terrorist organization, and attempt to legitimize them by holding "talks."
If disagreement and dissent make me a racist, then I have this to say to Jimmy Carter: Go back to Europe.
